Elder Law

We focus on the legal needs of the elderly and work with a variety of legal tools and techniques to meet the goals and objectives of older clients and their families.

Our clients value our assistance on issues that they are presently facing, such as medical care. Often they need our help in navigating through applications for Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid. We also help identify appropriate types of care as well as coordinating private and public financing sources.  We work to ensure our clients’ rights to quality care.

We also work to help our clients and their families with planning for a wide range of issues. Examples of key planning issues include planning for inheritances, such as wills, trusts and their related tax issues. Our clients also seek help planning for their future health care such as health directives, guardianships and Medical Assistance (Medicare and Medicaid) concerns.

By starting early, our “senior” clients make sure that they will receive the care they desire and that their wishes for themselves and their families will be respected.
